Chairman
Stan Chikakuda BAcc (Malawi), MBA (Henley), ACCA, CA(M)
Stan is a chartered accountant with almost two decades post-qualification experience. He is a former investment banker and project manager at Standard Bank Mozambique and also worked as Financial Controller at Barclays Bank in Mozambique. He is Founder and Chairman of the Indiqua Group.
Stan regularly consults with some of the largest financial institutions in southern Africa, as well as ICT companies, property developers and manufacturing companies. He also advises public sector clients in the areas of infrastructure development, telecommunications and SME policy, particularly on access to finance.
Stan completed his undergraduate studies in accounting at the University of Malawi and is an alumnus of Henley Business School at the University of Reading in the UK, where earned his MBA. He is also an alumnus of the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, where he completed a management program in SME and housing finance.
Apart from Indiqua Group direct subsidiaries, Stan also sits on the board of Sanlam Moçambique Vida Companhia de Seguros S.A.and he chairs the Audit, Actuarial and Risk sub-committee.
Senior Partner, South Africa
Wallace Siakachoma MBA, CA(SA), FCCA, FZICA, ACA
A chartered accountant with more than 20 years’ post-qualification experience, Wallace leads our team in South Africa, having joined the firm as Senior Partner in February 2016. He also leads our groupwide financial services team.
Wallace previously worked as a senior finance executive at BancABC, initially in Zambia and Mozambique and then at HQ in South Africa. Prior to BancABC, he spent five years at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he specialised mostly in the financial services audits in Zambia and Kenya.
Wallace holds an MBA from Oxford Brookes University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA). He is also a member of the ACCA Global Forum for Corporate Reporting, a worldwide group of ACCA members who advise the ACCA on the potential impact of new accounting standards and make recommendations to be included in ACCA’s feedback to the IASB for any proposed improvements to IFRS based on feedback from industry and practice.
Senior Partner, Eswatini
Violet Buluma BSc (Env Sc) (Mw), MBA (Missouri State), PGDip Dev Fin (Stellenbosch)
Violet leads Indiqua operations in Eswatini. A former project manager, she has deep knowledge of the Eswatini market, which she brings to bear in her engagement with our clients in the public, health and financial services sectors.
Violet has previously worked as Coordinator of the Essential Health Services Package (EHCP), initiating and coordinating the rollout of an essential health care package for Eswatini to all health institutions across the country, both public and private. This included mobilising and coordinating resources from within Government and from funding partners, including the Global Fund, World Bank/EU and PEPFAR. She has also previously worked as a corporate banker at Standard Bank Eswatini, during which she used her specialist knowledge in global markets, credit risk and investor services to advise and manage relationships with the bank’s large corporate clients.
During her tenure at the Eswatini Chamber of Commerce, Violet founded the Business Women’s Forum of Eswatini. She also obtained funding from the ILO for and implemented a capacity building program for SMEs at the Chamber.
Violet holds a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Malawi, an MBA from Missouri State University and a postgraduate diploma in development finance from Stellenbosch University.
Director, Group SME Development
Felistas Sibweza BBA (Mlw), MSc Mgt (Leeds), PGDip Marketing (CIM)
Felistas heads Indiqua’s SME development initiatives groupwide. Working with clients in the public and social sector, she develops holistic solutions with respect to SME policy, business development, financial inclusion, access to finance and capacity building.
Among others, Felistas has previously led an extensive capacity building program for Malawian private clinics under the USAID SHOPS Project. The aim of the programme is to help small, privately owned clinics to move towards greater sustainability and profitability, and to improve their capacity for growth. She has also led Indiqua’s technical assistance project to the Micro Finance Unit in the Eswatini Ministry of Finance, developing a capacity building strategy for the Ministry targeted at local SMEs. This included the development of coaching, training and mentoring tools for business advisory service providers in Eswatini.
Felistas earned her undergraduate degree in business administration from University of Malawi. She earned her postgraduate degree in management from University of Leeds in the UK. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketers in the UK.
